With access to two satellite teleports, one in Perth and one in Adelaide connected directly to Australia's national terrestrial fibre network and multiple microwave networks, SatStream offers affordable, redundant, Tier One Internet and Private Network access to any corporate or government user in Australasia.
Contended or Shared Links - Our business package customers can subscribe to our BASIC 512K duplex 10:1 contention synchronous service.* Low contention services are more expensive than Consumer Grade satellite services, but they are necessary to be able to properly support quality Telephony and Virtual Private Network connections.
Other packages include our B2B 1024K duplex 10:1 synchronous service with an unlimited data allowance and our PRO 2Mb/2Mb 10:1 duplex service.*
Committed Information Rate or CIR Services - All of the above services are also available as CIR services. Simply put, this means that our Client has the ability to reserve their own "Space Segment" and does not share or contend the available bandwidth with any other network user. This type of private circuit is necessary for large remote Mining Sites, typically with hundreds of employees requiring Telephony, Data & Video delivery services.
All SatStream services come with an unlimited "data allowance". Our customers can never exceed an agreed "quota" and are never penalized for "Excess Data Charges" at the end of their monthly billing period.

ALL of our service can easily be upgraded at any time to facilitate higher performance and different contention ratios.

With this kind of IP bandwidth, commercial customers can now enjoy a high-speed Internet service to power applications such as: Multi-Line IP-PBX Telephony, Video on-Demand Services, Emergency Medical Services, Corporate Training and Induction Services and Business Payroll or HR Applications, all on the same IP backbone.
Endpoint equipment can be made available in a variety of ways, ranging from outright purchase, to tax deductible rental or operational leasing plans. Installation and annual service charges are dependent on the customer location and are subject to separate quotations.
