SatStream provides alternative telephony access for Customers with WiFi enabled Smart Phones in areas where 3G or Next G services are just not available. So now when you are on-site, miles from anywhere, you can enable your Smart Phone to make and receive calls from your Local Area Network or on-site WiFi network.

Smart Phone users working at remote sites can now stay in touch by connecting the SatStream Telephone network to the on-site Fiber, Microwave or Satellite service. Simply register with the SatStream authorized agent on-site and you will be issued with a local phone number and you will receive an email with your registration confirmation and log-on details.

Once registered, you will need to download and purchase the appropriate SIP application for your Smart Phone. SatStream recommends the Counter Path BRIA application available at the following locations:

A Cash Credit will be automatically added to your account to compensate you for any valid App purchase. Once your App is installed, input the Username, Password and Sip Server details from your SatStream Registration Confirmation Email and you can start making calls right away!

Features of your new phone service:

  1. - You can call forward your Smart Phone mobile number to your new Local Number and always get your calls.
  2. - If you are out of WiFi range or not online at the time, your calls will automatically go to Voicemail.
  3. - When you are back in range and or connect to the LAN, you will get an email detailing your messages.
  4. - You can make and receive calls whenever you are within range of a WiFi network whether you are on-site or at an Internet Café in town.
  5. - You will get a warning email when your account has reached your predetermined limits and
